This year’s Southeast Spelling Bee was held on January 17th, and our competition had a bumper crop of contestants from fifth and sixth grade, totaling over 40 in all. With challenging words above their reading level, the students gave it their best shot. In the end, it was sixth-grader Camryn Mark who took home the victory, correctly spelling the final word “stirrups” to win the 2020 Southeast Spelling Bee. Congratulations Camryn! Below we have some pictures taken from the spelling bee.
