For those that use the Remind service to keep in touch with what is going in the classrooms, on January 28th, any Verizon customers that have text messaging signed up through Remind will no longer receive text messages from the service. This is due to Verizon categorizing Remind messages as spam, and levying an additional fee to Remind for every message sent through its service. Remind is removing those services from its availability. You still have the ability to receive smartphone push notifications if you download the app as well as email notifications.
If you are a Verizon customer, to continue to get notifications, you must sign up for email notifications or download the app and allow for the push notifications to be sent to your phone. You can find how to go about that process below:
