Online kindergarten registration for the Salem City School District will begin on Monday, April 27, and will run through Sunday, May 3.
Children need to be five years old by September 30, 2020, to be able to register for kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.
Parents will need to take a few minutes to complete the first step in the kindergarten registration process by completing the online registration form, please see the link below.

Once a child is registered online, parents will be contacted by email to schedule an appointment at a later date (probably several weeks) to provide the required documentation to complete the kindergarten registration process.
Required documents that will need to be provided at a later date:
- Birth certificate
- Shot records
- Social security card
- Parent/guardian driver’s license or state ID card
- Custody papers (if applicable)
