Thank you to Geoffrey and Kim Goll for their recent contributions to the Salem High School/Junior High School Library Renovation Project. They join our original donor, Adele’s Restaurant, in supporting an exciting makeover. Whether one chooses to call the venue the “library,” the “media center,” or, stretching the limits of euphemism, the “learning commons,” this is the place where students go to study, to perform research, to collaborate in group projects, to gather for after-school meetings, or just to sit back and engage in that most wonderful of academic, expository, and leisure-time activities, reading. It is time to beautify the hub of the school, and the district is well on its way to doing so.
