That crisp chill in the air, leaves starting to fall on the ground, the sun setting a little sooner means fall is approaching and that high school football is back. Friday’s are for football again and we have a great team playing at Reilly Stadium on a brand new field with an awesome new scoreboard as well. We have some great additions to your Friday night football experience so make sure you come on down and check us out.
There’s a new turf field at Reilly Stadium with some great field designs. The new turf allows for easy drainage so if there is rain or weather, as is pretty common here in northeastern Ohio, the field doesn’t have ponds, hills or mud bogs. As much fun as football in the mud and snow can be for the fans watching, muddy games not only do a lot of damage on laundry bills but can lead to injuries to our students. Composite turf will allow for our players, both home and away, to feel safe when they are slugging it out on the lines.
Another great addition that we have is our new scoreboard. Teamed up with a pair of cameras, you can watch the action on the field with amazing clarity, as well as some great graphics put together by some of our video students. Not only does this allow for great visuals for us fans, but also prepares some of our students for careers in the graphics arts and web design fields.
If you do come out to cheer on our Quakers, you should also do it in style and bathed in red and black. We have some great stuff for the entire family so don’t forget to check out our team store at the field and also online at our Spirit Shop site. Remember, every sale from any of their licensed school stores generates royalties for the selected school so shop today and show your school spirit. You can also give back to our band and football boosters by stopping by our concession stands under the home side seats. There’s ton of great and local food options to choose from and at very reasonable prices. Grab a “marching” taco or a pizza roll and watch some great football with us!
